Let’s Get Started!

Ingredients Needed

  • 4 ounces almond milk
  • 1 handful kale
  • 1 ½ handfuls of frozen mango chunks
  • 1- 5.3 ounce Silk, Peach Mango Yogurt

Directions

Place all ingredients into a high speed blender until kale is completely blended. Spoon out and serve immediately. If you freeze any leftovers just know it will need to sit for a few minutes to soften back to soft serve texture.

Benefits

Mango has antioxidant compounds that have been found to protect against colon, breast, leukemia and prostate cancers. It also helps lower cholesterol, improve eye health and alkalizes the whole body. Mango has even been shown to improve digestion and fight heat stroke.

Kale has nearly 6 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber per cup, and vitamins A, C, K and B. Kale also has more iron per calorie than beef. This makes kale great for inflammation and cardiovascular support.

Cow’s milk contains casein that has been shown in multiple studies to be a cancer promoter. Using almond milk or other plant based milk in this recipe is much better for your overall health.
